This Privacy Policy explains how personal information is collected, used, stored, shared and protected when individuals use the Vitaliya website, platform, pilot programmes, research activities and related services.

Vitaliya™ is a workplace health intelligence platform developed and operated by Rydex Technologies Ltd, a company registered in Nigeria with CAC Registration Number 9546719.
For the purposes of applicable data protection law, Rydex Technologies Ltd is responsible for determining how personal information collected directly through the Vitaliya platform is processed, except where Vitaliya processes information solely on behalf of a participating employer, research institution or partner organisation under a separate agreement. In such circumstances, the respective responsibilities of the parties will be defined in the relevant agreement and communicated to participants where required.
Depending on how you interact with Vitaliya and the services being used, we may collect identity and contact information; account and login information; employment-related information relevant to workplace health programmes; questionnaire and survey responses; workplace health, wellbeing, physical activity, sedentary behaviour and other relevant health-related measures; technical information such as device type, browser type, IP address, operating system and platform usage information; communications, enquiries and feedback; and research or pilot programme data where an individual has agreed to participate.
We will only collect information that is necessary and relevant to the service, programme or research activity concerned.
We may use personal information to provide, manage and improve the Vitaliya platform and services; administer accounts and provide technical support; deliver workplace health assessments, interventions and pilot programmes; generate insights and reports; communicate with users and participating organisations; evaluate programmes and services; conduct research and service evaluation where appropriate approvals and safeguards are in place; maintain system security and integrity; and meet legal, regulatory and contractual obligations.
Where information is used for research, evaluation or organisational reporting, we will use anonymised or aggregated information wherever reasonably possible.
Some Vitaliya services, pilot programmes or research activities may involve information relating to health and wellbeing. We recognise the sensitive nature of this information and apply additional safeguards to its collection, access, storage and use.
Where consent is the appropriate legal basis, individuals will be provided with clear information about the activity and asked to provide consent before participating. Participation in research or pilot activities will be voluntary unless a different lawful and clearly communicated arrangement applies.
Vitaliya is designed to support workplace health improvement while protecting individual privacy.
Employers and participating organisations will generally receive aggregated and anonymised insights, such as overall workplace health trends, participation patterns and programme outcomes.
Individual health information, questionnaire responses or other identifiable sensitive information will not be routinely disclosed to an employer. Where any service requires identifiable information to be shared, participants will be clearly informed in advance about what information will be shared, with whom, for what purpose and the lawful basis for doing so.
Where a user chooses to connect a compatible wearable device, fitness application or other connected health service to Vitaliya, the platform may collect or receive information such as physical activity levels, step counts, movement patterns, sedentary time, sleep-related information and other measurements supported by the connected service.
Connecting a wearable device or third-party health application is voluntary unless clearly stated otherwise for a specific programme. Users will be informed about the types of data being collected and the purposes for which the information will be used.
Users may disconnect a connected device or service in accordance with available platform settings and applicable programme requirements. Vitaliya will only use wearable or connected health data for purposes communicated to the user and in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable data protection requirements.
We do not sell personal information.
We may share information with carefully selected service providers that support technology, hosting, communications, analytics or professional services. Such providers may process information only for authorised purposes and will be subject to appropriate confidentiality and data protection obligations. Information may also be disclosed where required by law, regulation, court order or another lawful authority.
Personal information collected through the Vitaliya™ platform is hosted and stored on secure cloud infrastructure located in The United Kingdom.
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure. Access is restricted to authorised personnel and service providers who require it for legitimate operational purposes and who are subject to appropriate confidentiality and data protection obligations.
Where personal information is accessed, processed or transferred outside Nigeria or the country in which it was originally collected, Rydex Technologies Ltd will take appropriate measures to ensure that the information is protected in accordance with applicable data protection laws and international data transfer requirements.
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure. Access is restricted according to role and legitimate business need. However, no internet-based service can guarantee absolute security, and users should also take reasonable steps to protect their account credentials.
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including legal, contractual, operational and research requirements. Different retention periods may apply to different categories of information. Where information is no longer required, it will be securely deleted or anonymised in accordance with our retention procedures.
